About Me

My name is Charles “Charley” Wood and I am a real estate attorney licensed to practice law in the State of Florida and Michigan. I am also a licensed title insurance agent in 24 states and a Florida general lines insurance broker.

I am the Managing Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Attorneys’ Title Services, LLC and Compass Closings & Title Services, LLC. Additionally, I am the Managing Partner of First Coast Law Group, PLLC, a Northeast Florida based law firm focusing primarily on real estate law, construction law, and business law.

I regularly represents lending institutions, real estate development companies, builders, mortgage companies, and business owners. I also have significant experience in residential and commercial real estate transactions, including negotiating and drafting of contracts, easements and restrictive covenants. I also represent commercial and private lenders in connection with the structuring of new asset-secured loans, construction financing, the review of title on behalf of lenders, the preparation of loan documentation and the closing of loan transactions, loan workout and disposition activities.

I received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Florida and Juris Doctorate from Florida Coastal School of Law. I am a member of the Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section of the Florida Bar; the Northeast Florida Association of Realtors; the Northeast Florida Builders Association; the Mortgage Banker’s Association; and the Pensacola Association of Realtors.
